Proof reading your CV

STOP!

However well presented and detailed your CV is, if you have a spelling mistake or bad grammar then a client will dismiss your CV and you won’t be asked for an interview.

The way to avoid this is to ensure you proof read and spell-check your CV, It is a good idea to ask a friend or colleague whom you can trust to read it through for you. Hopefully they will give you honest and useful input on whether your CV is detailed, accurate and relevant to the job and fairly indicates your level of responsibility and achievements. Remember don’t exaggerate, but also don’t undersell yourself.

Follow all these tips and this will help you to bag that new job, if your need any advice on your CV please contact Parker Wells on 020 7415 2880.
